Seaweed and other plants from our oceans have been linked to healing for centuries.

Since the 16th century Sea plants, sea salt, and even the soils of the ocean have been used for healing purposes. These items are used to cure rheumatism, and even for general rehabilitation. Since those days, the wonders of the ocean have been used for general care of the skin, and for beautifying and cosmetic reasons.

Today seaweed and other organic matter from the ocean is used for massage

Spas wrap their clients in these healing plants to relax. The sea ingredients will moisturize the skin and is basic good health for the skin, providing nourishment, and moisture to the body.

Many spas follow the seaweed treatment with a full body massage

Most spa owners suggest a visit to the location every month, In between visits they recommend certain oceanic products you can take home, and add to your daily bath. There are also many creams and lotions available for home use.

Seaweed creams are desirable because they are safe

The creams contain no harmful ingredients. They are all proven to be good for skin care, and to help beautify the skin. The only care needed is contacting these creams with your eyes, or mouth. Although these creams are safe, they will cause irritation to the eyes, and may cause nausea if ingested. A spa seaweed wrap or simply a body massage with seaweed creams can do wonders for your skin, and has been said to lift spirits due to the relaxing effects and enjoyment of the event.

Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymph nodes. The lymph nodes are a small collection of tissue that houses white blood cells. These cells are the fighting agents to many viruses that attack the body. Having cancer to the lymph nodes is a serious and often terminal disease. The body will not be able to ward off any illnesses, and thus the victim will get sicker and can eventually perish.

One of the most common symptoms of Lymphoma is pain in the sides of the neck just under the ears

This is because the lymph nodes are located in this area. The pain can also occur in the ear itself, causing swollen lymph glands. It is very important to know that most ear and neck pain, associated with swollen lymph glands, is not lymphoma. In most cases, people discover that it is merely a virus, and can be cured with a simple anti-biotic.

The only sure fire way of finding out if the swollen glands are lymphoma, is with a biopsy

Ear pain can be associated with so many things such as a simple earache, a virus, a build up of wax in the ear, or even a medical condition involving the inner organs of the ear. Lymphoma is a possibility, but nobody should ever assume that this is the case without a complete examination. A doctor will be able to determine whether the ear pain could be lymphoma by looking at the additional symptoms. Having flu like symptoms along with ear pain usually leans toward a virus.

Acupuncture is an ancient healing practice that is still used today.

It originated in China many centuries ago, and in recent times has been used as an alternative to modern western medicine practices. Many people not only believe in acupuncture’s healing method, but also are fascinated by its deep and long cultural history. Some people turn to acupuncture because of its rich history. Some choose it because modern medicine techniques are not working for them. Others choose acupuncture because it is a safe, proven and cost effective method of healing almost any illness or chronic injury to the body.

Modern medicine depends on several tools and surgical instruments to heal the body. Acupuncture uses very few items.

The main tools of acupuncture are needles. These needles are inserted into the skin in specifically selected areas. There are generally four types of needles used in acupuncture. All of the needles are capable of transferring bacteria to the body. Therefore, alcohol is another tool needed to sterilize the area and the needles. The only other tools needed are gloves, and an insertion tube for the needles. (Sterilized} Needles should never meet the bare hands or for that matter, anything at all. The needles should be sterilized, and only have contact with the area being treated.

Some acupuncturists use items not normally associated with the needle therapy

Stainless steel balls, pressure studs, and magnets are sometimes used. These items should always be sterilized as well. Not many tools are needed in this practice but having sterile equipment is essential in any form of medicine.

Wrinkles are a normal part of the aging process in people.

Many people, especially the rich and famous, choose to fight nature by getting cosmetic treatments… Botox and cosmetic surgery are two of the most common treatments to stop or to remove wrinkles from the neck and face. Another option is acupuncture therapy.

Removing wrinkles by acupuncture is not a new concept

The Chinese have been performing acupuncture to remove wrinkles for centuries. This form of acupuncture is known as Mei Zen, which means “beautiful person”. In recent times, Mei Zen has become more popular in the Western Civilization, as an alternative to Botox and plastic surgery.

Acupuncture proponents believe this form of treatment is the best

Acupuncture can stop or erase wrinkles, and get rid of deep lines in the face according to the acupuncturist. This treatment works by stimulating the persons own body chemistry. The needles cause the body to produce elastin and collagen, which are the key elements to smoothing out the skin. People will never have to worry about scars, or pain. Some people even claim their face feels better even though the point is not to remove pain

Another popular reason for this treatment is cost

The price of acupuncture is much less then both a series of Botox treatments or cosmetic surgery. Many advocates of this procedure believe it to be much safer as well. Some critics doubt the effectiveness of acupuncture claiming there is no scientific proof that it works. They won’t argue that the procedure isn’t safe, (no reported adverse effects), but they doubt that the procedure does what it claims.

Some historians believe it may go back as much as 7000 years. Acupuncture started in China, and then spread into Ancient Egypt, then over time into Western Europe, and the United States and Canada.

Acupuncture is a health science proven to alleviate pain.

Acupuncture also cures body dysfunctions. It was not until 1971 that the United States discovered its healing affect. This is when diplomatic relations began with China.

The use of acupuncture cures many symptoms.

The amount of treatments necessary will vary depending on the illness or pain… Some people experience immediate relief. Others actually feel worse at first, but then see a significant difference after a few treatments. Acupuncture treats both acute and chronic problems. People with chronic issues usually require many treatments to alleviate their pain. Some can take up to eight treatments before their see a positive result.

Some of the most common symptoms and illnesses that acupuncture is used for are:

Headaches, including migraines

sinus conditions

bladder dysfunction

bed wetting

back pain

cervical pain

shoulder and neck problems

and post-operative pain.

Acupuncture can help with the following illnesses:

allergies

asthma

stomach and ulcer issues

blood pressure

anxiety problems

and many other health issues

The use of acupuncture positively treats all of the above-mentioned health problems. This is just a partial list. Acupuncture treats many illnesses successfully. Acupuncture not only treats illness, but also prevents symptoms from coming back.

There are different types of ulcers.

Most of them pertain to the stomach or abdomen area. Some of the most common symptoms of an ulcer are a burning pain in and above the stomach, nausea, vomiting, heartburn or discolored stools. The most common symptom is heartburn, especially between meals, or after consuming certain foods, such as citrus, coffee and alcoholic beverages. Antacids can alleviate the pain, but the ulcer remains and still requires treatment.

In most cases, a person with an ulcer will not have many symptoms other then the stomach issues.

However, in more extreme cases an ulcer can cause back pain by the ulcer perforating the stomach wall. This is very serious and needs medical attention immediately.

Medical conditions other than an ulcer cause back pain when there are no ulcer symptoms. If you have ulcer symptoms or are receiving ulcer treatments and experience sudden back pain, consult your doctor immediately.

In some cases, people with ulcers will have symptoms that radiate throughout the body.

This can easily be confused with other illnesses. A stabbing pain through the gut into the back area may travel into the chest area. This can be easily confused as a heart attack. Most ulcer pain stays in the abdomen area. Others have had symptoms that are much more severe. Nausea is often one of the symptoms of a heart attack. The same is true for an ulcer. In any case, the person needs medical attention immediately. Take all precautions if you have a ruptured stomach, as this can be as serious as a heart attack.

Knee pain is one of the most common complaints doctors hear about with regard to pain symptoms. This is often because of an increased interest in working out, jogging, and other physical activity. All these activities can be strenuous, but are not necessarily the cause of knee pain.

The knees contain bones, ligaments, cartilage, tendons, and fluid

This is why so many things can go wrong with the knees, and it takes a doctor visit to figure out the problem.

Pain or aches on the inside of the knee could be many things

First it has to be determined if this was caused by trauma to the knee or an accident. If this is the case, the pain could be from torn ligaments, or medial (inside) cartilage. In addition to trauma or injury to the knee, arthritis is also a known cause of aches on the inside of the knee. Torn cartilage or ligaments are very painful, so it is impossible that this could happen without the person feeling the initial pain.

Any injury to the inside knee, or consistent pain should be taken seriously

Inside knee injuries may sometimes only hurt while in use and there may be no pain at all when resting. The injuries can make also come with sounds such as, clicking, or popping noises. Often if untreated the knee well become swollen.

In a case of arthritis, there may be some swelling but there is usually no need for surgery

Generally, wear and tear over the years causes arthritis pain. Doctors typically treat arthritis with medications, and walking aids to alleviate the pain.

A severe injury to the knee may require knee surgery. This can occur at any age. Failure to have a necessary surgery to correct a problem may result in the injury getting worse. Even to the point of total knee replacement.

Young People Should have Knee Surgery if Recommended

Young people who sustain a knee injury, or have a medical condition resulting in knee pain, should have knee surgery if the doctor recommends it. The knees are important in just about every activity in a young person’s life. Getting surgery is important, so the person can become active again, while they are young. Waiting too long will result in time lost when the person is active and young. Younger people tend to be more active, so it is only logical that the person gets healthy as fast as they can.

Young People who have had Knee Surgery are at Greater Risk for Knee Surgeries in The Future

Young people who have knee surgery face a greater risk for more knee surgeries in the future. This is because young people tend to be more active, thus there are much more opportunities to sustain a knee injury. This should not prevent us from getting knee surgery at a younger age. We cannot get time back, and it is more important that our bodies are healthier when we are young, when we tend to be more active. Young people also tend to take more risks, and may not follow medical recommendations. This makes them candidates for further possible surgeries.
